At the recent 2010 Indiana Auctioneers Convention in
Columbus, IN., Sara J. Minor CAI, GPPA was named IAA's president. Organized in
the 1940's, she became the organization's first woman president. Recognized as
the nation's largest state organization with a membership of 500.
Sara is a third generation auctioneer, spanning nearly 100 years. Her father,
Cecil Meier and grandfather Henry Meier prceded her in the business. Sara
resides in Madison, IN with her husband Kenneth. Together, they own and operate
Minor Auction Service, Inc.
